Head to Maldon to see Mount Tarrengower and climb up to the top, wander around Maryborough and head to Bristol Hill. Be sure to climb to the top for the beautiful views of the town. If you want to experience some nature and bush land you can go for a walk around the Maryborough Res.
Castlemaine has a wonderful diverse culture to experience- local cafes, farmers markets on weekends. You can visit the Dingo sanctuary at Jirrahlinga Dingo Conservation & Wildlife Education Centre - BASED IN CHEWTON VICTORIA. Ballarat has a wonderful wildlife park.
